Without a doubt the most popular auction site is eBay, you can buy and sell pretty much anything as long as it is legitimate. For example I personally know someone who loves looking through other people junk at car boot sales and school fares etc. She buy little items, you know knick-knacks for the home, cleans them up, shoots a photo and sells them on eBay.
